I am looking for the manuals for the boost controller BLITZ DC and the Apexi SAFCII. I bought the car last fall (ran great), batery went dead this winter, and I am told it lost it's programing. Also is there anyone or a shop that can show me how these things work?? Kayser Mitsubishi in Madison didn't have a clue!! I am located in Madison, but am in Milwaukee all the time. Thanks Chuck

Lost the memory? How can that be? I always unplug my battery every fall and have never lost the settings on any tuning device. Even gauges (except the greddy). If your car is still running the stock fuel injectors, you shouldn't need to play with the SAFC. Here's the instructions for the Blitz DSBC. http://www.rtec.ch/dsbc_manual.html

that is what Kayser Mitsubishi told me. This is my first turbo car, and I know very little about it. I know that I don't have stock injectors. Do have upgraded turbos. Do you know of anyone that is really good with this kind of thing to help me out. i have no problem paying them or a shop

I don't know of any shops in your area, but you're best bet is probably to find a local w3si member to help you out and inform you about your car. You're doing the right thing being careful and patient with your car; don't rush into anything you don't understand, as it can be an expensive fix.
Greg, how far are you from him? Have you spent any time on an AFC?
Matt

Where in Madison, do you live? I'm in Sun Prairie. Can you give me a list of everything that has been done to the car? What year is it? Here's a very good site that goes over most of the SAFC features and how to tune using it. http://www.roadraceengineering.com/newafc.htmhttp://www.roadraceengineering.com/newafcsetting.htmThey're for a DSM (Talon, Eclipse, Laser), but the functionality is still mostly the same.

Bummer... Chucky, give me a holler. 608-212-4355 I'd be happy to check everything out for ya. We'll get her figured out. For starters, we'll pull the front turbo intake tube to see what wheel is in there. Then I'd like to see what color the stripe is around the fuel injector boss. These will clue us into what you have.

Thanks Jeff for explaining the problem better than I did. I did check the front tubo, its spins fine. That's as far as I have got. It's getting so nice I want to drive it! I have been out of town alot lately G-E11 I will give you a call. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated. Chuck 608 239-6158.
