http://bryanlouis.net/~brett/vr4I paid 9300 for it, shipped to me from New Hampshire. Sandstone, I fell in love with Matt's color in person and between him and CarnageVR4's sigs on 3si, I knew if I didn't find another blue one I'd have to get a sandstone... which I did. It's stock, except a power sunroof (like Jesses apparently), and some weird rims. When it gets here (couple weeks) I'd like help doing some compression checks and just checks by anyone who can, I wanna make sure she's in tiptop shape before the fun begins....

That's awesome, man! Give us whatever info you can on the car when you get it in hand.

I can grab a compression tester and give you a hand. I think I have one. I'll check the box tonight to see if it still works.
We could head out to my uncles shop(I'll check for a day when he has nothing on it.) and throw it on the lift. check the drive train, check for leaks, blah blah blah.
Also impressed that you found one so fast... zoom.

Heh, all the pictures that show the flaws are out of focus.
I love the color! Looks like a great project. Is it a 92 or 93?

SHARP color! Not nuts about the rims, but that's not a deal-breaker. Clean looking engine. I like the aftermarket sunroof ... it looks like the 2G stock power roof, but has see-through glass -- and it probably matches the body color pretty well from the outside.
Hope everything on the delivery goes smooth and things check out once she arrives. Did you say where you found it? AutoTrader? Ebay? 3SI classifieds?

That's a Webasto power sunroof. I have one just like it and works very well.
Beautiful ride bud.
Best,

Beautiful car, Brett. Can't wait to see it terrorizing the streets of Green Bay.

I don't think the rims look to bad. I disliked the ones that came with my car, but they've grown on me. I'll have to see them in person.
We can check compression by my house. (as long as we have the plenum off we might as well pull the rubber intakes to the turbos off, so you can at least say that you've seen them and check them for shaft play.) I've got that pressure tester, now too. Air leaks wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to check. pull the wheels off and check brakes.
Head out to bay speed and borrow the lift to check drive train, and misc leaks, and suspension.
Then we'll head out by my cousin matt, move the battery to the trunk, have him fab up some headers to run a T-88 single turbo, and call it a day.
Whadda think? ~ Adam
