wtfbbqnewbersizepwnt is what I got today upon calling around for a synchro. Stay in school kids, don't let this be you someday! Kormex = laughed at me. Supercar = no response. 3SX = negative. PM'd a few people on 3SI as well.... it would appear my car my not emerge from the garage this summer at all. For the record, upon talking with gatecrasher I've learned that the story people are telling around campfires everywhere about MKIV supra synchros working is not correct. They are too large, and have to be machined to fit. FTL. The moral of the story here children is do not drive like a dewschhhh like this guy and breakz your xmissions. You will pay. I DRINK YOUR SYNCHRONIZERS! I DRINK THEM UP!

I'm always down for helping people out. To be honest it looks considerably worse than it actually is. 1st and 2nd gear are pretty easy to get at compared to the rest of it.... That being said, I wouldn't ask for my help until mine gets put back together and works.

We have at our disposal a 5 axis CnC machince, a CAD designer, a full machine shop, and small cat with whiskers on one side of it's face and half a tail. that's got to be good for something.

I had to have mine rebuilt when I bought it. My friend and his dad did a good job with it though. They said is was one of the hardest things they've ever done. Joe ordered a tranny rebuild kit but it didn't include the syrncros which, I only had the one between 2nd and 3rd which was cracked. So he ended up buying a syncro kit as well and we were set to rock and roll. He then brought it to CATCO after the tranny was out and had it pressed and then they finished they brought it back to CATCO and had her pressed back together. After that they put it back and it was good to go. All I did was pay for the stuff and a small bit of the labor but since I bought it off my friend they did most of the work for me for free. I can't say I know much about it or how to do it but from the way it sounded, it was a beast and a half to complete...
