As long as we are all being official, I need to officially sell this car. I just can't afford to keep them on the road now that I'm paying child support. 92 3000GT SL Auto. Spotless new black leather interior, including carpeting and back seats. 130,000 miles. Some minor body damage like a fist-sized dent, and rear bumper discoloration. JDM tranny just put in and all gears working. 80% of the time it shifts perfect, the other 20% it seems to be just a tad late but I think it's because it needs a new throttle position sensor. When I bought the car a year ago I put on new heads, timing belt, water pump, timing belt tensioners. I also put brakes all the way around including calipres. A set of chrome wheels/tires plus the stock wheels/tires included I will be going to the UMG so can deliver to WI within reason, IE it's on the way or we can meet someplace. $3000 or best offer some pics: http://www.untangible.com/gallery/main. ... temId=2841http://www.untangible.com/gallery/main. ... temId=2368I wouldn't sell but now that I'm paying child support I'll be lucky to keep my house. I've already sold the truck, now the 2nd car has to go so I can consolidate finances and focus on just keeping my VR4 on the road. I'll start a new album and post pics of the body damage and interior soon.

Jaysus, what kind of bad karma befalling us all? I'm really sorry to hear that Bret, sorry if me ribbin' was out of line -- I always seem to think of movie lines... mispent youth and adulthood. We'll help both you Bret(t)'s anyway we can, you know that. Okay, I'm winning the lotto Saturday night -- anyone with me? SJ

No worries SJ, I didn't consider your comments a rib at all, in fact I love ribs, they taste really good with hot bbq sauce. It's just my second 3kgt that I bought to drive to work and back in. I will be extremely broke moving forward, near destitute. I have no intentions of selling my girl though, my red VR4. I just need to go back to being a one car guy so I can consolidate efforts. Knock on wood the red car is running great and I plan on bringing it to UMG if my evil baby-momma will switch weekends with me. Keep the faith! I am down but not defeated and still maintaining a positive mental attitude. I look forward to seeing everyone next month and cutting loose a bit and relaxing.

Hey, I like it. What all have you done to her since you got it? Looks quite clean..... I can totally relate to the childsupport thing. It only cost me $175,000 (and my brand new '91 VR4) over the 12 years I was paying. I am just beginning to recover from that to the point where I can actually start thinking about cars again. LOL. Hang in there, it will pass. and thats "official". If you have any recent pics of the 3K, send them to me. Not sure where you are located, but I will mapquest it. I love white!!!!

Aside from all the things I've done to it since I bought it, not much, the tranny went out just a few months after I bought it so haven't driven it since probably August of last year. I'm in Michigan but I'm going to the UMG the weekend of the 18th so can deliver, within reason, to WI. I will take extensive pictures tomorrow morning when it's light out and link them. Also if you are anywhere near Milwaukee you can take the ferry over to Muskegon and we can meet there. More tomorrow.

Looking forward to the pictures, so I take it the tranny is still in need of repair. I was wondering about the $3000 asking price. Still may have a use for it if it is. Later, I work all day Saturday, but will check from work...

No, the tranny is NOT in need of repair currently. I just put a JDM tranny in it and it is running well currently, all gears present and working and I am commuting back and forth to work in it. The computer is reading a bad throttle position sensor but that is pretty minor. Now it is a JDM tranny and no telling really how long it will last, maybe a long time, maybe not long at all, no telling. The asking price is about the worth. Trade-in value is 3,900 but with the minor body damage and age of the vehicle I knew that was unrealistic and anyway I needed to price it to sell with my current finances or lack thereof. I'll put the pictures up tomorrow morning and go from there.

Thanks for the pictures, sorry I did not hear my phone ringing at work today, it is very noisy where I work. I have a few others to look at but will be making up my mind within the next 3 weeks. Yours looks like what I am looking for though. White / black, right heater controls, ..... nice.
