Have a friend I met because he has a 91 Stealth TT. Said he went to the Upper Midwest Gathering a few years back. Well he also has a 71 Cuda. I saw it covered in his garage below his house, it was dark and I thought the color was a lime green. Today on my way home from lunch I saw a bright yellowish green Cuda parked. Well a few minutes later it showed up in my yard. It was my friend Dave's car. He bought it in 1977 , said it was parked at a local used car dealership. He stopped in and someone told him it was sold. Then the owner walked out and told him there was no money put down on the car so technically it was still for sale. He said he kind of knew the guy who was going to buy it. He hated to do it but gave the guy some cash. The owner gave him the keys and off he drove to get the rest of the $$$. He said as he was leaving the dealership he passed the guy who wanted to buy it. Said the guy never talked to him for years!!! Too bad....you snooze you loose!! Sweet ride and all original. He did say he has the rubber bumper for the front. It got dinged so he put on the painted metal one.
