Jay from 3SI has been making rear camber control arms for the TT/VR-4 now for about a month. He's charging $160 SHIPPED. 15 people have already installed them (he has GREAT trader feedback) and they all are very impressed with the quality and work. These things are 1/2 the price from what 3SX Performance charges ($329). So... if you need adjustable rear cambers, CHECK THESE OUT. I can't believe this deal. I'm buying them this week. Now I gotta get springs too http://www.3si.org/portal/forums/showth ... genumber=1http://www.3si.org/portal/forums/showth ... ost1745621JRink

I'm thinking Tein S.Tech Lowering Springs from 3SX. $189. 1.5"/1.3"
Intrax kinda scare me because I don't want the ride to be too harsh...
Thoughts?

I believe it depends on how low you plan on going. If you go too low, and your camber is off, your tires will wear out quicker than you can imagine. The control arms help fix that problem.
For instance, on the TT models, most people can seem to get away with Eibachs without control arms, but some people still need the arms. Eibach lower about 1" to 1.3"... Any more of a drop and you can pretty much guarantee you'll need the control arms.
For $160 I couldn't believe this deal and the guy is legit too, lotsa people buying em and using them now.

GC's just seem to be a waste of $$ to me. There are now 3 very good sets of springs out there for our cars each with different drop rates to suit your taste. Besides, every time you raise/lower your car, you must get all 4 wheels aligned.
The eibachs dropped my car a little more than an inch. Coarse, this is more because I'm still running the origonal stock struts. The ride is still very good (ask Dave), and I don't have any bottoming out issues. Even during the cruise, I never once bottomed out even after catching a little air. The rear camber is just within spec w/o the control arms.
Replace the pillow ball mounts on top of the front struts. Betcha they are warn, dry, probably cracked if not completely warped too. I need to replace mine.

Purchased new springs today to go along with my rear control arms. TEIN S-TEC SPRING - $160 shipped from www.Gruppe-S.comCheapest I've seen around. $29 cheaper than 3SX. Say hello to a lowered car! Now I've got my springs, and control arms, I'm all set for rims.......... bring it on!. Any installed springs and control arms? Install party!
