Hi i have a hood that NEEDS repainting it's viper red so i need help on where to order it at? Or what i could do is just go buy a Carbon Fiber Hood for about $400 do you think it's worth it? plus i have a few dings and dents in the current hood and could i get the paint job for cheaper? and how much should a paintjob run about? what color is your car? The reason I ask is the cost of the paint and material for some colors is almost double for the pearl colors, i.e. pearl white, pearl yellow, and possibly solano black pearl. On top of higher paint costs, these colors are much more labor intensive.

For a quality job with a non pearl color you should expect to pay somewhere between $300-$400. The pearl colors will probably run you about $150 more.

I would suggest talking to R/T Brian, he might be able to hook you up.

The color? Viper Red. yes, viper red that is what the prior owner said. So maybe if i cant' find that maybe a "safety red"(which i heard is relatively cheap) would be similar or any other red for that matter. Just "pm" R/T Brian then I assume? reds, browns and pearls are the most expensive paint out there, as far as cost for someone to do the hood, Aaron is pretty much in the ball park range for cost.....If your interested just give me a pm or ill be up in park falls sometime in august if you want to get together.....
