Pulled the tranny and did a vac reduction to Unclebenny's car tonight. When I was pulling the vac lines off the throttle body, I noticed the red dashed vac line that plugs into the P port was cracked wide open. This is the vac line for the fuel pressure regulator. This means the FPR wasn't getting the proper vaccum nor boost pressure. Fuel pressure should rise 1 psi for every 1 psi of boost. If this doesn't happen, you can run lean = knock = lower timing = less power. Got that all taken care of now.

well, I finished the new vac lines today, but I may shorten them up some after we get the car back together and I see exactly how much I need. I assume the shorter they are the quicker response you get from the wastegates. I recieved the gear oil and the PLX today, but didn't have time to put it in. I'll work on it tomorrow inbetween my meeting and work. The new ring gear is in and torqued to the front differntial. I am going to see if I can get the new pinion gear pressed on tomorrow. Replace seals and reassemble next week!
Buddy club told me another 40-45 days for the wheels, I am going to be speaking to the head US employee on monday about how unhappy I am and what they are going to do to get my wheels here in time for the national.
