It's a 2.5 hour job max... Do they charge $200/hr?

2 1/2 hours for the crank pulley at a dealership? what are you talking about? Bring a stealth to a dodge dealership. It takes them 3 days to order the manual before they can work on it. then they have to hire a new guy 'cause the master mechanic that only works on carbs and scrapes wax out of his ears with his keys can't figure out where the carb is on the stealth. Then you have to have two guys working on it at all times (one is new remember?) Now add in the fact that they can't order any parts until they have the old pulley in there hands, and even then can't figure out where to get them. (heaven forbid a dodge mechanic know anything about the dodge/mitsu history.) Then because they can't find parts they have to bring the old pulley to a machine shop and have one custom made out of a chunk of steel. now assemble it incorrectly 'cause they're dealership mechanics, so they have to do it twice. So for three weeks worth of work and a custom pulley, I can see it. 900 bucks is probably a steal.

I get shit for having turbos from every mullet + stained tank top (or cut off flannel... thank you comedy central ) so I give it back. It comes with the territory where I live. Greg understands, he's seen my freinds.

I've had the crank bolt come loose before. Whoever loosened it last probably only tightened it to the point where the crank would spin which isn't good enough. It can still back out (right Aaron?).
Was the timing belt cover damaged? What about the Crank sensor wiring?

The dealership that is being talked about is Don Jacobs. I thought they were nice in getting me a free tranny when my transfer case when out, but the service isn't that great and are just looking to get money out of me, such as 900$. I hope that I never have to take my car back there. -Josh
