I was told that to replace the Lash adjusters head removal was NOT needed. But timing belt would be? Any help is welcome. This is for my 91 ES

Neither the timing belt nor the head removal is hard to do. but i'd recommend using air tools to speed things up.
BTW... I might be just retarded and having a brain fart, but what are the lash adjusters again?

The lash adjusters are under the rocker arms . ( in the heads) you have 24 of them one for each valve. TH

You don't really need to spend the $$ for new ones. Just pull them out, soak each one overnight in some type of cleaning solution, then put them back in. It'll probably take another 10 years for the crap to build back up enough to make them tick again.
