You didn't think that this would be a completely bolt up afair, did you?
The headers not quite fitting sucks. I'm glad that you said something though, as I was looking at getting those in the future. Stick with it man, I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end.
You know what they say, **sexist pig comment to follow** If it was easy women and children would do it.

JRink wrote: Like Jeff said, I'd better hope these DR turbos aren't defective out of the box. I've noticed they've (finally) come down in price too! Did you guys have to shim any of the motor mount brackets? Have you tried test fitting your downpipe to the o2s (kinda afraid to ask)?

(as copied from 3SI) Here's the latest progress on my motor. Some of the major things added are DR650s (compressor side polished, exhaust side Black Satin ceramic coated), DR Stage 3 Heads, DR ported intake, DNP headers (race coated and ceramic coated), Precat Elims (race coated and ceramic coated), Powdercoated transmission and shitloads of other powdercoating and polishing, dual feed fuel lines, etc. TONS more was added, but I'd rather not get into the full list right now. Motor isn't completely ready yet. I have a few powder coated brackets and powder coated throttle body to install yet. The rear oil return line doesn't fit due to the DNP headers so I need to custom fab something for that. There's still about 20 misc. bolts on the motor that I need to replace with SS polished ones (I've already replaced 98% of ALL the nuts and bolts in the engine bay with polished SS ones - costing me over $230 alone). I'm also waiting on a few other minor things (eh, I don't have spark plugs yet, lol)... Everything will be finished "soon". This project has taken MUCH longer than I ever anticipated. Starting to get on my nerves. Anyways, enjoy the pics. Looks great J! Cover up that lower intake manifold before you drop something in there. b.t.w. The name of the place that sells earls fitting near you is called Pegasus Racing.

That thing is looking "pimp" Jesse, I am jealous. I can't wait to see her in action being as how I have been planning on getting most of the same stuff when I finally upgrade turbos.
I just got done pulling my stock intercoolers (upgrading to DSM's for the summer) and I have to say that it took a bit longer to get the damn bumper off than I anticipated. There are about 5,000 bolts/cheesy plastic screw clips holding it on. On the bright side, I have everything except the wideband at my house now, so I can start working on stuff.
Is the car going to be running by the UMG Jesse?

Brandon, sounds awesome. Hope you figured out where to mount that blasted arc-2.
Eric, I hope to have it running in 2 weeks. But, likely everythign else with this project, expect delays... hehe.

Motor is in the car. Big thanks to Jeff. How fun that was! Regardless, not a single scratch anywhere on the newly painted engine bay (thx aaron) or the tranny, or you name it. Pics forthcoming in the next day or so... Jesse
