The MAFT can compensate for larger injectors or be used with stock injectors. http://www.dejontool.com/Fuel.htmAn AFC is recommended for fine tuning. Chris Dooley sells a logger for the 94/95 that logs knock and everything the 91-93 does http://automotive.miragecorp.com/

On a stock turbo car, the feul system was just barely able to keep up even at stock boost. A hybrid (94/95) logger will show you this. When I installed a MAFT (old version) on a guys completely stock car, we had to richen the high and low 1 click. uncutnick3kgt wrote: i know a/f guages a crap and dont read worth a damn That's just someone's opinion which you are blowing out of context. They work just fine. They just show your 02 voltage in a pretty colorful light pattern. In my opinion, they are perfect for somone runing a piggy back air/feul controler like the MAFT. All you need to know is if the O2's are cycling, lean, or rich. The gauge is nice because it's hard to look at a logger and drive at the same time.

It's not the gauge that's inaccurate, it's the stock o2 sensor. uncutnick3kgt wrote: second i dont have a vr4 and yes they have the results on a bone stock sl ... then added the switch and then it ran .5 quicker on the quarter... results dont lie I'm not arguing that. We "borrowed" and installed a MAFT on Joe's car one night and noticed a fair improvement with all the settings zeroed out. Never datalogged it though to see if the stock feul system was keeping up. I'm actually considering one for my NA DSM.
