I live in the Milwaukee Area, and own a 300GT SL and want to buy a VR4. New to the community, and am wondering where you guys go frequently.

Good places: www.w3si.org (check our for-sale forums... especially Capula1's 97 VR4. It's sweet and worth the price) www.mn3s.org (the MN group also has a forum) www.3si.org (good classified section) ebay motor autotrader local papers

dont buy one that needs a lot of work unless you got time and money to put into it. Check it out and if your not very mechanical have someone that is go with you. I looked at a lot of different cars before i finally found mine. If the person says service was done, ask for reciepts or where the work was done. Just make sure you don't buy something you will regret. Also these cars are not cheap to maintain. If you can get one with the 60k already done. It will save some $$$$. Just my thoughts. Good luck, welcome to the forums.

Yeah, I got a friend in Florida whos looking around for me, he knows plenty about cars, so I can trust his judgement. Hes willing to drive it back up here since hes moving back.
Now that I moved out of the "City" and I moved into the middle of nowhere, where I cant get internet, I need a hobby, and plan on spending a lot of time working on the VR4, anytime that im not in school that is.
But I dont want the VR4 that I buy to be too expensive, I prefer under 9k, which is hard to find, but doable.
But thanks for all your help. Im sure ill be asking more questions later.
