There are several places that will rebuild your ECU for a decent price. You can find out easily enough with a search on 3si. If you have trouble locating it, let me know, and I'll round it up for ya.

I've seen a couple base ECU's on eBay lately. For some auctions you don't have to return the old one.

Also, remember to get one for the right motor. You cannot interchange them.

...in addition to that. A 3000GT base does not have the same ECU either. It must be from a 91-93 base Stealth.

Uh... AFAIK, the only differences between the ECUs are the emissions. Federal, California, and Canada. I don't *think* there's any reason why you can't mix-n-match them.
Are you guys 100% sure the ECU is bad?

There may be a difference from year to year. Atleast from 92 to 93. And I believe the Canadian emissions and the US Fed spec are the same. As long as the year, motor, and emissions match, it should work fine. All the ECS, Climate control, ABS...etc should have seperate computers in the car.

As long as the year, motor, and emissions match, it should work fine. The only differences between an OBDI ECU emissions are slight variations in the maps. EGR valve works on it's own (via vacume) and there are no temp or 02 sensors in an OBDI car. Pretty sure all the ECUs are the same through-out the 1G SOHC models other than emissions. I could be wrong.

I can donate mine for a comparison.. as soon as I get my clutch slave and slave line and a day off to do it all, I can come down to Mill town and we can get together and get some serious work done
