Hey everyone, Thats right. Its time to start thinking about the 6th Annual, All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show. It will be on Sunday, August 22nd at the Ellingson Car Museum in Rogers, MN. New this year is the sign-up form. You simply fill out the info on the sign-up page and you are registered and put on the mailing list. All the info about the Cookout is at: http://www.mn3s.org/all_mitsubishi2004.html The direct link to the registration page is: http://mn3s.zforcenetwork.com/list/?p=subscribe The price should be around $5 again this year, but I'm not positive yet. We had about 100 cars there last year. We'll easily beat that number this year. later, Curt

Is there anything nearby to do, I don't know the Minneapolis area that well.... I'm sure if I bring Amber again we could find something to do in the Twin Cities.. any recommendations? If we'd travel that far I'm sure it'd be for the full weekend.

The Mall of America is always a good place to check out if you've never been there. Even though its a Mall, its more of a tourist attraction. The thing is just huge. Also, we'll probably have a few little extra activities for those who are coming for the whole weekend. Maybe some indoor go-karts. These karts go 40mph! Or we might have a Saturday night dinner. later, Curt

Curt, How about we have another go at "why won't Jesse's car start?" at Francis' house. That was a fun Friday event and managed to kill an hour or so. Don't forget the "See who forgot sun-tan lotion and has the largest raccoon eyes" part of the car show. Last, we can wrap the weekend up with "Hey, let's all watch Jesse's car on the flatbed and follow it cruising around the highway". Those were great times See Brett, there's plenty of things to do.

No show for me. The car won't be painted until spring (along with some other dress up stuff).
Next year, my car will appear at more events. For now, I want to get a few time slips with this thing.

Hey guys, I updated the attendee list: http://www.mn3s.org/attendees2004.html We've got 49 Mitsus signed up to come. This is well ahead of last year's sign ups at this point in the game. We're gonna smash the old record of 100 cars. later, Curt

Hey everyone,
I've finalized the categories for the All Mitsu Cookout. Here they are:
Best 90-94 DSM Best 95-99 DSM Best 00+ Eclipse/Stratus coupe Best 91-93 3/S Best 94-99 3/S Best Evo * Best Classic Mitsu (89 and older) Best Other Mitsu * The "Gene Helms" Cleanest Car Overall
* The Evo and Other category may be lumped together. So far there are not enough EVOs for there own category.
We will have trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for all categories except Cleanest Car. That is only a 1st place trophy. All voting is done by the participants. So far we have 64 people signed up and we still have a month to go!!
later, Curt
