ok buying wheels is not like in the old days at all...so now i have been thorn for a week on what type of wheel and size i should get....budget for this is $1700 but i could go to $2000 if they are that nice... i originally wanted the motegi touge in black...but it has since been discontineud locally but i am able to buy them online for a fair price... problem is i want a 3" lip and the offset of the touge i was looking for +25, and i believe our cars is +46 the size of the wheel is 18x9... i was wondering how much you guys this thats gonna stick out? i have been to 3 places locally to try to get them to just put a similar size wheel on my car to see if it does, and no one wants to lol the other sizes are 18x7.5 with +45 offset...and i think that be to small and the lip will be none existing heres a link for the rim itself http://www.performanceplustire.com/prod ... prodAnchorif it does stick out to much then am gonna have to use flares when i get painted this month i hope... also the car will be dropped to the ground a bit with megan racing coilovers from runner up or on line order i am placing the order soon if i dont hear from him cus i am an inpatient bastard lol any help would be apreciated...thanks

On a 9 inch rim +30 offset sits just about flush with fender, +25 is going to stick out about 5mm.

well i did read that before....but hes in waukesha correct?it be perfect if he was in milwaukee....i dont know if driving that far with 3 wheels out of wack on brand new tires gonna hurt them or not? either way most likely ill use him cus due to my back problems, maybe he can adjust how low the car is and stuff, i did them yesterday and still feel the pain....this sucks anyways, i gather he can do the rear adjustables correct?thats my main consern....ill call him and ask thanks for your recommendations SJ and the Jhammer

well i called 262.549.1000 and was told that he works at the Hyundai which it is stated in the post, but she gave me the number for there cus the one in the post is not it, so maybe you could verify and update the post with the new # which is 262.522.1000 either way when you call the 549# she will give you the other one...is up to you thanks again SJ also we talked and he said he can do everything but the height adjustment...so i ask here for a favor guys....can some one help me with that when i get my wheels?i have had 2 back surgeries and i am not really sure how to adjust these either. money is not an issue if you want to charge me...but right now i just cant...i have all the tools necessary to get it done, so it can be done by some ones house or mine... i called jeff but hes to busy lately with working in chicago and stuff...let me know if someone can...i can pay cash and or in beer lol

arrrgh........i am so fn pissed right now... the place where i bought the wheels called lorenzo and they said that the wheel in question had a 2 inch lip.....which i decided that would be ok, but instead of that take a look and you tell me if they even look like the picture at all....the picture one even shines a bit... and the tire is a little to high for my taste...needs to be a tad lower... is just not what they said it would be, now i have to go back tomorrow to talk to the rep who sold them to me to see if i can get my money bak,cus thats the only thing at this point ill accept. i even told them i dont care if it sticks out a little bit, thats what body shops are for to fix stuff like this, but he assured me a 2 inch lip was a given...next time ill go and just order by what i think is right.... sorry just had to vent...seems like nothing is going good this past week [/img]

well after so freaking time coming...i order this suckers online...may not be the taste of some here, but when the told me that they have over 2-1/2" lip? i was sold at hello lol plus it doesnt look as busy as the lorenzo ones am gonna run the 19x9.5 rear and 19x8 in frontill get them on friday according to them, and going to the local shop to get tires on them right away... i thought about the width for the rear, but the offset is +40, so they shouldnt be to bad, either way my plans are for a wide body from cianci when its done later this year. i went 19 cus it fills in the massive wheel well these cars have......even at 18 the space on them dont look even, and i saw some at 3si with 19 and i actually like the look like i said maybe not the style most would choose here but for me i fell in love at first sight lol other than that...what ya think? also you wont hurt my feelings if you say they are ugly, after all we are all different thanks for all the help guys.
