So... long story short, I bought my 3K back from the douche that bought it from me. He somehow blow the tranny. Everything else looks to be fine, but I won't know until I start tearing it apart.
I'll be looking for a '94-99 tranny - preferably with lower mileage.

Runner up wrote: Why did you buy the car back? Well, he emailed me bitching how the tranny was weak etc... etc.. and a lot of bitching. I honestly don't even know how he blew it. lol. I've done a lot of lapping days and auto-x. High rpm constantly, and I couldn't even blow it up. But after 3.5 weeks for him, he somehow did. Looks like he did a lot of burnouts and stupid driving since the front tires are worn down like crazy. I offered him $1750 for it back cause the damage and such were going to run me close to 1k+ to fix it (which it doesn't). And he did. lol. Plus the amount of money and parts I threw into it was worth way more. So I have it on the good side. This way I can start auto-x and lapping days in late May. I can't seem to find a good (GREEN) VR4 for around 7k at all (which is all I have) so I picked up my beefy N/A back and will stay fwd N/A for another year. Plus, I can keep up with Stock VR4/TT/WRX from a 40-120 roll. So it's not like I'm way under power or close to a stock n/a.

Well, If I decide to buy a 5 speed tranny from a vr4 for my fwd TT, i'll sell you mine if you want it. Goes into all gears smoothly (2nd is a little notchy when cold), no grinding.

Thanks Scott. I just might take you up on that offer. I'll need one by Mid May at the latest. So if you have it available by then. I'll most likely pick it up if I don't find one yet.
