We got it in February and have had quite a few things fixed. John has decided to sell it because he has things he wants to do with our yellow '95 TT (clutch ect.....). He also would like to have a little extra $ around.
We logged the car and there is no knock. Mods on the car are short shifter, K&N drop in, test-pipe, Spec Stage 2 clutch. Mechanically, the car is in pretty good shape. (See below for what the car still needs done.) The car has been repainted at some point. The paint itself is pretty nice, but there are scratches and numerous door dings. Not too noticeable because of the darker color. There is a dent/chipping paint on the front of the hood near the drivers side headlight where a deer hit it (2 owners before us). A hood bra covers it completely. There is a scrape along the side of the rear bumper, pass side. There is a crack in the rear bumper, pass side. There is no CD player, has cloth seats, no sunroof. Pretty much a base model TT. Has glass headlights, which need cleaning.
We just put brand new Blizzak WS60 snow tires on the stock 17" rims we bought the car with. The car will come with the 18" chrome rims (but not on the car). They need new tires. Car will come with front lowering springs.
Clean carfax. Had a dealer scheduled service at 124K, according to carfax. The previous owner had a Kormax tranny installed along with a Spec Stage 2 clutch. These have less than 5k miles on them.
