looks like this thing is going to be a real beast, cant wait to see it run. Just make sure you "overnight parts from Japan", I hear that makes things faster.

No major updates, STILL waiting on the damn ECU. I'm getting really impatient now. I removed my ABS pump and made new brake lines, then moved the fuse box and much of the wiring harness out of the engine bay and away from the heat. I finished the wastegate dump tube on Monday: It should be pretty damn loud. I decided to ditch the A/C completely. So I ripped out the rest of the A/C components and modified the alternator bracket so I could use a smaller belt. Old belt vs. New belt.

It is a damn sweet looking setup, I cant wait to see it running. I love the idea of moving the fuse box, I might have to look into that.

how legal is it to have a wg dump in your fender? I like that idea, but don't want to have problems with men in blue.

I don't expect any major issues because of it. For the most part the wastegate will remain closed and quiet.

I'm more worried about the look of it than noise. cop can just see that and pull you over and give you a ticket for that. or they can't do that?

I doubt hardly anyone would even know what its for. And if I were in a situation where a cop could hear the wastegate dump I'm sure I'd be getting a ticket for speeding.
I don't think they'd have a valid reason to pull me over by just looking at it, as it wouldn't be making any noise, and it wouldn't be dumping out any exhaust.
But either way I'm not concerned at all.

I'm with you Roy. If anything came up I'd tell the cop I bought some super cool exhaust simulators from eBay. I highly doubt they will even notice that minor feature.. especially with it on the passenger side. Build is looking good!

Methinks you're inviting unwanted and unnecessary trouble. Maybe an body color mesh or something -- you won't want Hammersly sticking a banana in there... Just my 2-hp.

I'd like to stop over and see it in person some night if you have time. That turbo is freaking huge. way large.

Yeah definitely, If I'm not working I'm usually at home during the week. Bring the car over! I haven't seen it yet since the single turbo was put in.
I went to see that new fast and furious movie with Brett the other day and he asked if you were still around. I figured you must have gotten kidnapped by a gang of midgets or something since you haven't been on here in forever.

I figured you must have gotten kidnapped by a gang of midgets or something since you haven't been on here in forever. I always hybernate in the winter. I probably should post more, but I just get caught up in other "winter" hobbys, you know? I also went to see the latest fast and the furious recently. With my friend Tom who is rebuilding a mid 80s 300ZX. I don't mean to get to far off topic here, but what the f*** was that piece of crap hatchback subaru they decided to steal 3/4s of the way through the movie? Why is it that after the first movie they have a habit of downgrading cars? FnF 1: Eclipse to Supra FnF 2: Skyline to Evo (I'll admit Evos are nice, but it was a freak'n skyline) FnF 3: Vipers and V8s to Evo (must like Evos. whatever.) FnF 4: Skyline to Subaru hatchback. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd trade my Benz, the jag or my stealth for a suby with some graphics on it any day of the week... but... wait... No. I wouldn't. Not even if it was really fast. Anywho. I have to knock the rust off the rotors this week sometime. I'll try and swing by. Adam
