Is it possible that this is an ignition problem?
Could it be the PTU ?????

My car did a lot of sputtering and was wacked when the rpms
were about 0- 2000rpms.

Also you checked the Mass air flow sensor... Did swap a used one ??

If you run the car with it unplugged does it run worse or better?

Yea, the PTU is a flat looking square mounted to a plate right below the coil packs.

ok just throwing this out there just I'm lost on this...could I have a bad wastegate or bad turbo that's giving me the issue? Cause the car runs fine now well for the past 2 days I should say...I did the vaccum reduction so I shouldn't have a boost leak anywhere. I was thinking that maybe the turbo was back spoiling which was causing the car to jerk around when it hit boost and maybe now it just gave out and now the exhaust flows the reason I say this is cause my exhaust is not loud anymore and don't think the bov doesn't sound loud either.......

Ideas??

First off, anything you ripped out vac redution wise I want.

I'm not sure about the other part of your question, I'd really try to get a real boost gauge to see whats going on. Don's Machine Shop in kenosha might have them, not sure really where to look locally.

What I was trying to say is that the cat has no power in it and it's sounds like I have a full stock exhaust in it verses just having a downpipe on it like what I got.

For the spedo issue I would definatly check the connector for the spedo sender. It's right by the clutch slave, on top of the trans underneath the rear turbo intake piping. I had mine pop loose before and it did the exact same thing.

Does it studder all the time? Only at WOT? And how did you check the TPS. It's possible that you have a dead spot in the TPS, not common but it happens, and the only real way to see it is with a o scope.

Also when i starts studdering do you notice anything else? Smell like it's running rich?

Just another though you may want to try unplugging your MAF and see if it runs ok with it unplugged. When it's unplugged it will throw the computer into a limp mode and ignore the MAF reading. I had somewhat similar problem with my car a while back and I figured it out when I left the MAF unplugged by accident, looked at the connector and realized that was getting a bad connection. You may want to check for a bad connection at the TPS too. If you're only getting that TPS code at idle you may want to try unplugging the TPS too to see if it runs ok, since that will also throw it into limp home mode.

so the problem was due to my rear cat being clogged so gutted that and the pre cats now runs great just really loud LOL

Ccrunner-I know you said I should only be at 6psi but even without the controller hooked up I'm still at 14psi
