I just want to thank everyone who helped with their expertise, enouragements and suggestions. I especially want to thank Jeff who stopped over late one night with his young, well-behaved little guy Connor and helped me get the damn thing out. The drilling and tapping went better than expected, but of course changing one thing means you must modify other things to make it all fit .
It took all weekend (Friday-Sunday), but finally at 6:30p Sunday night it started. Hear I thought if I gave it the old colleg try Friday night I could get up to Adam's Saturday -- I now about Midnight Friday that was not going to happen. I had no idea it would take two more days. Roxann and the neighbor helped me get the OEM hood back on as well.
Sea trials next. What a bloddy mess and a TON of wasted time.
ver fer --
please let me know ASAP what kind of bribery you'll need to help me further with this strut height issue. I need to get this hood resolved now.
Thanks,
SJ
