I have an issue with my 3kgt, its an automatic transmission and when im on the freeway my top speed is 80 mph, when i apply the gas it shifts to accelerate and slows down to 60 mph or slower. downhill I slowly pick up speed and uphill its slows down. CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME?????? (262)483-9906

Do the RPMs climb as your speed lowers?

sounds like your transmission may have some problems. Maybe Michigan Man Bret Holbrook can help. I think he had a couple auto transmissions for sale.
You could have 440 4x4 take a look.

Finally someone helping me peddle my wares! I have a 92 auto tranny that is missing two gears but it could be used for parts. I have a good? 93 auto tranny, it was shipped to me with a 3 mo warranty but that is gone now, should not be doa though. I'll be at the nationals.

I'd be happy to take a look if you want to stop by. I'm on the south side of Milwaukee. Just don't "shoot the messenger" if it's bad news...
