Forget the injector map.
Yes, you can do negative numbers in the a/f map.

ttangel wrote: The only problem with just leaning out that one box greg, is remember on my car, the computer never touched that box. (his might only go to the 5% throttle 1000 rpm box...)
It all depends on where he has his throttle cable set and it's reading the throttle position at.
granted it would probably change it by interpolation between cells, but for now, just to get it cylcing I'd probably grab the top bunch of cells together then, go back and work on the cells individually. Oh, you're right, but not for that reason. It won't touch that box because the car idels above 1000rpms when you first start the car.

Updates:
1) took the day off of work today to swap back to my stock 210cc injectors, both Greg and Adam believe this to be a good idea to solve some of my fuel issues for now.
2) the dual exhaust off of a TT doesn't fit 100% right on a N/A. The drivers side exhaust pipe hits the control arm bracket for the rear wheel. I got it to bolt up, but it sits a little uneven.

wow... i must have done this a few times or something, swapped the injectors, total time, 1 hour. Not too bad for a noobie. Now if I can just get the F***ing y-pipe on without screwing up that seal.

get the beginning of the lip on, then roll it up and down until it's all the way on, then connect the BOV and the intercooler lines.

You have to beat in the part that hits the control arm from what I remember, you don't have to do to much if its all aligned properly though.

car runs very rich at 2000 rpm... and I now know the BOV is opening at that point. The car is not in gear, all I am doing is reving up the motor to 2000 RPM or so, and I hear it whistle while the engine is holding 2000. If I rev it up higher, it whistles louder. This could be my problem.

how do you know it's the BOV?
Could it be a massive vacuum leak?
the bov should NOT open until you let OFF the throttle. if it opens before it's defective or hooked up wrong.

Quote: how do you know it's the BOV? 2 different ways. first, I had my father put his hand in front of it and he told me it was blowing lots of air out. second, I disconnected the BOV boost/vacuum nipple, and the car just went around the block, and didnt die once.

I use a bit of white lithium grease every time I put the y-pipe back on. It slides back on MUCH easier and has yet to pop off....up to 16 psi.

Kinda figured. Find yourself a Greddy type-s and install it the right way. Leave the stock injectors in until you get the low impedence resistors wired in.

SHE'S ALIVE!!!! I am we todd ed... the spring for the BOV was as loose as it will go, not as tight, so I fixed that, and DA DA DA! she runs. Went around the block a few times, and now I think I have the BOV too tight because I dont hear it open at all. It is a rough tune, but I think I can get it too the UMG for you guys to work your magic.

I have a greddy type-s sitting on the work shelf at home, but it's a real greddy, and I'll throw the phucking thing off a bridge, or mount it on the benz before I sell it for 20 bucks like the knock offs. (yes, I am a bastard.)
or, perhaps you want to take the one apart that you have and see if the rubber membrane is messed up, and possibly re-lay it, repair it, or re-place it. (might be the fastest way...)
Or you can get the knock offs pretty cheap... maybe find one that will ship overnight?
EDIT: just saw your post. glad you figured it out. remind me to make fun of you at the gathering for adjusting your BOV the wrong way. HA!
