Worked on that last night, but I need to go get a new drill bit, mine is total dead now. Yeah, I'm pretty sure I ruined that bit doing the front one. The main reason it took longer/was more difficult than I remmebered is because I never gutted my font one, only the rear. I might have been under the influence at that point. I still have all my fingers and toes though, so sobriety FTW!

John, I still need the money for the parts. when can you get that to me? Also, I forgot to tell you, the oil pan costed 40 bucks to get the plates made and welded up. (plus a called in favor, but I'll cover that. ) But without that cash my car will be locked in purgitory instead of at the umg. thanks.

I have had no luck finding oil return line hoses that will work. Project is kind of on hold until I can find something.

John,
I don't know the status of your project... But, there is a guy in Milwaukee who several of us have used for fabrication. Let me know if you need his contact info. Kind of a "different" sort of guy, but does awesome work.

basically this is what I need. I need oil return lines that will hook up with the "stock connectors" on the turbos and oil pan, but will have enough length to reach my holes in the oil pan (not in the stock locations, but close) Joe, let me know what day works for you, the car isnt going anywhere at this moment.

Update: This little project is no longer fun. Biggest problem i have right now is HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU GET THE REAR PRE-CAT IN??!! Still cant break the line loose on the gas tank... I cant believe I WANTED to do this.

Do you have the plenum off? If not, do so... Also, if you have the O2 sensor in precat, take it out.
On "some" cars, the rear motor mount is a bit worn, and sags - much like uhm...
If you very slightly (and carefully) jack up the rear of the engine, it will allow you enough clearance to install it. Usually have to twist it around a little. This method has always worked for me.
It's only a little bit of a clearance issue between rear of engine, 1/2 shaft, and steering lines. Jacking it up resolves this.

I never had a problem with the stock rear precat... the pre cat elims are far worse...
if the rear turbo is still loose, you can pop that out for extra clearance, then just set the pre cat off to the side, while you strap the turbo back in...
I also believe that when greg and I messed with that rear pipe we had the car jacked up, as we did the 60k at the same time.
I think we put it in from the top.
