Here is a link to the thread on 3SI: http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php ... ost3300910Long story short: I plugged in the 95 cali-spec ecu I bought and it didn't sync with Mrink's hybrid logger. Through process of elimination, we determined it was either the port, the wiring to the port, or software. I hopped on the net and talked to shiver, who reminded my dumb ass that my hybrid ecu was overclocked, requiring a special version of his software. We pulled Mrink's ecu, threw it in my car; car started, ran correctly, and logged. The only thing holding me back now is buying a palm.......and those pesky wheel things everyone is talking about. Bottom line: You CAN lock knock on an OBDII vehicle via hybrid ecu swap and hybrid logger. Booya.

yes, all over town; actually I'm driving it right now.
No, jackass. Even if I could drive my car, I'm NOT going to attemp to MAKE it KNOCK. Shiver and I are pretty sure that it is working fine and will work fine. Gate crasher told me all the sensors are the same, merely newer versions, I see no reason why it will not log knock if/when it occurs. All other items were logging accurately.

No, jackass. Then, I don't think you should be preaching until you find out for sure that EVERYTHING works.

Come over wed, and we'll settle this like men. I'll bet you your wheels and ecu that it works. If I'm wrong you can have you shit back.

At any rate, what's also intresting is the ECU is also getting garbage packets. Eric has the same fuel pump hotwire setup as I did. We'll try removing the fuel pump relay and see if that gets rid of them like my car.
