I hope everyone is okay.
They brought my son back from the Elroy-Sparta bike hike soaked and scared, I guess they were stuck in on of the tunnels and it sounds like a funnel cloud went over top of them.
I have a river in my back yard and down both sides of the house, and shed with my mower and snow blower swamped.
Crawl space flooded, another corner of basement got a lot of guitar gear wet. I think I've had enough water (both frozen and unfrozen) for one lifetime.
What a freakin mess.
Yes, I'll take some cheese with that wine.

one hit of lightning split a tree not far away from where I live, and the thunder hit so hard it knocked a light fixture loose in the kitchen. Which proceeded to crash on the floor loud enough to make the 4 year old wake up and proceed to start crying about monsters just as I was in the middle of recieving a BJ from my bride.
dang kids.
lightning and thunder did not bother me until the BJ stopped.

Lake Delton (the lake that Baker's Sunset Bay is on) is completely gone. The dam gave way and drained the whole lake.

Global Warming effects everything from repairs to your house, to your sex life.
Everyone should go outside and hug a tree.

SJ,
Looking that the radar map is looks like you have some more rain & thunder storms on the way today. Hopefully you don't get hit hard again. Here in the U.P. of Michigan we have had a lot of rain but it hasn't been all at once so it's able to run off. Everything is very green and growing fast. I'm busy trying to get the final coats of varnish on the deck of the kayak I built last fall. Right now I feel like Noah and I have to get it finished soon just incase I might need it.
Kyle

I was at our headquarters in Georgia when a tropical storm came through. Plus it was high tide so some areas got flooded. Everyone wanted sand bags and they were hard to come by. One of the guys I worked with had his home almost get flooded. He ran to Home Depot and purchased a large amount of the cheapest top soil he could find in bags. That is what he used to sand bag around his house and it worked. Expensive but a small price compared to not having flood insurance. I told him to keep the receipt and return it a couple of week later. He just put it all over his grass a few weeks later and said he had the greenest grass around that summer. Here is a picture I took of his neighors who got flooded. They didn't have hip boots so they improvised.....hefty cinch sacks, some rubber bands to hold them tight and old shoes. Presto...hillbilly hip boots! Kyle
