With today's 3-1 win, their 24-10 record is the highest winning percentage in their 55yrs. Crazy.

With the day off tomorrow, their .706 win percentage is guaranteed to make it to May 10th. Some soft competition lately, true, but still.... pretty damn amazing. Cordero got his fifth straight save in five straight days today. (overall: 18 outings, 15 saves, 0 blown saves, *1* earned run, *4* hits, *23* strikeouts ) All five of our starters are pitching great, the young bats are answering the call, and defense has been surprisingly solid. Now to mirror the same success on the road at Shea, Philly, LA, and San Diego this month......

How 'bout these boys of summer? Gabe Gross even stepping it up whence we needed it! Now, I really don't think they will let Mr. Steroids break the record here as the only place anyone will cheer is back in Frisco, but what if? Maybe let him get one, maybe tie? <shrug> But can you see 40,000 Brewer's fans storming the field and beating Bonds to a pulp? I hope the boys kick their butt's all the way back to the Left Coast. Us fly-over folks need to stick together. Best, SJ

I'll be there tonight.
Suppan starts tonight, he has given one up to Bonds, he faced him at the plate twelve times.
We should have some sort of Brewer game/Tailgate/W3si party sometime.

Yeah I see that on TV. I personally like the anti-cub guy.

I'll be at tonight's game. I'm prayin for a Cubs loss on the out-of-town scoreboard while the Brewers have the lead (matching last night). Looked like a playoff atmosphere yesterday!

Lucky dawg. We'll watch for you wearing spiderpig on your head. +1 Indeed! Was grand just watching it on the telly! Best, SJ

Wow, how disappointing the last two nights. Two perfect opportunities.
So tonight I will be there to hopefully see them get one game closer, or possibly see the Cubs clinch. Talk about a huge difference in potential atmospheres.

Very very true.
I bought a 20 game pack this year! Opening day will be a little cold, but nothing a good beer or ten can't fix.
