oing to do a custom electronics setup in my car. I've seen one guy on the board do this before but I cant find the post or what his user name is. Basicly I want to put my Blitz DSBC, HKS AFR, and Defi HUD/Turbo Timer Control unit up in the dash. I was originally going to just replace my center vents with a custom plate, but I drive my car as a daily driver about 80% of the year. My idea was to leave the center vents where they are and basicly move everything down one location. Basicly It would look like this

Center Vent
------------
Blitz DSBC, HKS AFR, and Defi HUD/Turbo Timer Control unit (in the location where the Digital Climate Control is)
------------
Digital Climate Control (where the radio used to me)
------------
Single Din Radio (Moved down to the bottom Din)

For the Blitz DSBC, HKS AFR, and Defi HUD/Turbo Timer Control I would make a custom mount out of probably MDF and then put a special black vinyl face o n it. Then get some smoked plexi glass and lay that over the top of it. Then drill holes in the plexi glass to let the button come through. This would hide the expensive electronics, yet make them easy to read and adjust when the car is on. Anyone have any suggestions if they have moved the AC control unit or just some general tips?

The wires for the climate control might not be long enough. That plug doesn't come very far out of the main harness. Probably have to exend the wires about 5" or so.

They way I've figured it out so far I'd have to cut off some of the edges on my AC unit to get it to fit also.......hmmm I'm starting to rethink this one.
