i have so far been unable to find a resonable winter car, therefore i am kinda being forced into driving the VR-4 during the winter, kinda sucks. I was wondering if the stock SL rims would fit on the vr-4 cause i have a set of blizzacks for the sl rims. Then i could toss those on there. Thanks.

The 16" SL rims wont clear the brakes on the VR-4.

I use the 245/45R17 BF Goodridge T/A KDW(S) tires in the winter and all year.

My only problem is I keep blowing treads off the tires. 3 tires did it this year at ~16k-18k miles.

Low air pressure from not checking plus cracked rims that leak are factors. 6 psi at highway speeds is bad for any tire.

They will fit on a 91-93 VR4, but not on the 94+. Its a tight fit on the 1g VR4, but I've seen it on a few vehicles. Also, the 97-99 SL rims will fit all years of VR4.
