Before i got my car, my dad called a couple different places to see if work was done. When he called Renner they said that work had been done there, he asked specifically if the timing belt and water pump had been done. The answer to both was no, they said accessory belts and abs pump were done, and that was it. He talked to someone named Michelle. Anyhow, so he got the 60k done at Kuettner, including timing belt and water pump. Lately the abs pump has been acting up, so he called Renner to see if it was still under warranty, again he talked to Michelle, she said it was and would cost us nothing to have it redone.

Here comes the good part.

After they do the check and are finished. He goes to get the car. Well Michelle, the one who said it was under warranty, hands me a $90 bill for laber and says"actually the part is not under warranty cause it was a used part and we don't wrranty those."

Stupidly he pays the bill.

Also while he was there he asked for a print out of all the service work. He is looking through it and what does he see, around the third page in, Timing belt, water pump, accessory belts.

WTF

It was done at around 69000 miles, and the car now has 76000 miles on it. Which means that definatly did not need to be done. So because Michelle telling us it wasn't done, we spent probably an extra $900-$1000 on the 60k. So when i came home my dad told me all this, i asked well why didn't you say something right there, he said well, i was in shock.

So i went over there and talked to em and they said it was a computer malfunction, like because there wasn't an owner on it at the time it doesn't come up, basically bullshit. I talked to em and got no where, so later my dad called em and got them to reimberse us the $90, but we are still out the other money.

Basically, that Michelle person is a dumbass and doesn't know what she's doing. Her stupidity cost us a lot of money and its bullshit. Idk whats gonna happen, but i am pissed at them.

I don't trust them after multiple tries with the A/C they couldn't fix it.

One time they said the A/C was all fixed and it was late so I paid without checking it first. Nope it didn't work they charged me for nothing.

Don't get me started on the fact that they can't get the right parts when you order them. You give them the number and they try to sell you a part with the wrong number and tell you that is what you ordered even though you had them repeat it to you twice before you gave them a credit card.

They couldn't understand the 3000GT when it was still being made so I doubt they could now.

Nice to see, some things never change. I'm sorry Matt, if I knew you had any dealings overthere, I would have warned you about her.

I've had several dealing with her too. I can tell you guys a story about a driveshaft yolk that cost us $68. Then we found out later it was only $35 and came in the t-case recall kit.

i thankfully never had to deal with their service department, however their parts department is rather friendly. the two girls i dealt with were rather helpful and always got me what i needed, sometimes it was a little pricey, but it's a dealer.

<<<< has all his work on his 91 galant and his 95 3kgt done at renner.. but i cant complain i get the service for free and the parts at cost....but all the people there i have always talked to have been awsome... but i guess we all have places we dont like so i dont blame ya
