So i was race shifting on to the freeway the other day in the vr-4 and when i shifted from 2nd to 3rd at redline, the gear wouldn't go in. Just grinded. I would be guessing that it is because the 3rd gear synchro is bad. I called up keuttner and they said thet won't rebuild them. They would sell me a new one with install for around 3K. Too much for me. Is there anywhere that rebuilds them around here for a decsent price. I saw that supercar engineering does it for 550 labor plus parts. It is fine as long as i don't race shift it, but where is the fun in not being able to do that. Thanks.

do you do rebuilds on the tranny? Also, what is a kormex tranny, i have heard of them, but i don't really know the difference. Thanks.
