Anyone know of a good place for a 3000GT tint in Milwaukee?
I checked a place a few years ago but they wouldn't do the hatch. The said it was too hard?

Untouchables does a very nice job.
Also I know Kartunes does good tinting. As well as Zeibarts.

Kartunes - get the full metal tint. The tint itself is actually black and not dyed so it will never turn purple.

Good I dislike the faded junk especially if you have to remove it and damage the rear defroster and dyversity FM antenna. Any idea on a cost? I think it was $300 to do my SS plus T-Tops a few years ago.

I don't think prices have gone up much lately. I dont think it'll run you much more than $200 for just the 5 windows. The 'brow' on the front and ofcourse the sunroof would be extra.

Do they do a good job on the upper part of the windscreen? A nice fade or a harsh sharp line?
When I replaced my cracked windscreen I forgot to ask for a tinted one and I don't remember if the factory windscreen was tinted. I just know I have to use sunspecs much more often.

I'm sure you can have them use the tint that fades on the front. I know that Kartunes and Untouchables deal with it, or atleast did not too long ago.

I've heard good things about kartunes, also keep in mind metalized tints will decrease reception for cell phones and radar detectors.

kartunes costs about 168 for a 15% tint for the stuff that doesnt fade.. coincidentaly they have a tint called "stealth" tint that they claim is like a tint with some metalic shit in it that helps it look like the color of the car itself or something? i got the 15% lifetime warranty no-purple tint for about 168 bucks and it is very nice... although i cant see my side mirrors at night when i drive :-\

Have you had any problems with the police since you are running 15%?
I was going to use 50% to be legit even though I had 25% without a problem on the SS.
Tint aways seemed to be an issue before the state law on the subject. A buddy had to peel it on his Shadow in front of a prick cop. This was before the state law.

i havent had any problems with cops yet, ive been pulled over twice for speeding and i got a ticket for "failure to control vehicle" when i crashed into the ditch, but no one said anything about the tint yet. I think they ahve to have the little tester thing with them otherwise they cant legaly say its too dark, most cops dont have it with them. 50% is really not a tint at all :-\ you wont get much out of it, i dont think so anyway.

I had 20% on my last car. Only once did a cop say sometihng about it being too dark in 3 years. And those of you who know me, know I deal with the cops quite a bit.
