I posted neutral feed back about vr4rombeyond in responce to this thread. According to Alan, that violates the brand new trader rating rules which resulted in my 1 week suspension from the board. And Aaron, you were right. He was rigging the auction.

I don't think you are suppost to use feedback if you don't do a deal with them. If you are bored you can check out www.us3s.comWatch out Alan is trolling there but he has no power on the site. He basicly spends his time there reading the profiles of users who left 3SI.org like JRC of www.vr4stealth.comEdit: Check out John's site to see the drama.

violates the brand new trader rating rules?!? Did you reply by saying that being banned violated your "Trying to stop decent people from getting screwed in the corn-hole rules" or anything? How can someone trying to help run a "club-type" website let other members get screwed like that. Sounds to me like he may just be insecure in other areas... I also was watching that car on e-bay, but smelled a rat the first time it got pulled off before it was done, and resubmitted a few days later at a higher price. WEAK!

I used the analogy of a person getting killed at an intersection before the city will put up a street light. I've done this several times before and it was never a problem. In fact, John Anker left me positive feedback for pointing out some major things a seller was leaving out of his add. If I would have baught the car, then I could have left feedback. How are you supposed to buy a car from someone who's jacken the price all the time? I just don't see the point of the trader ratings now. Zoodled wrote: Edit: Check out John's site to see the drama. I've actually been speaking about that to him privately in e-mails these last few days. I also have a CD of his site comming.

I never saw it posted on ebay the first time. I only saw the listing on 3si. Talked to him and then did a quick search because I noticed the pictures looked like they were taken at a dealership. Guess what. I found it at a place in michigan and called them. They referred me to the ebay auction. They also told me they were asking $5500. So, I already had decided I wasn't buying it from the guy on 3si since he was asking $5800. Then he got pissed that I bid on on ebay. I say it's bs that you can't post something to make other members aware that something fishy is going on with it and to be careful. So, like I said earlier Quote: who cares. piss on that site. A

The first time it was on E-bay it was about 1 1/2 days left and priced at 2000 dollars apprx. I was going to bid on it at the last second, and see if I could get myself a track car, no need for head lights, and a ghetto front end. So I went back and it was pulled. I then saw the same car with the same discription, I believe by the same dealership with the price jacked up about 4 days later. The next time I checked the price on e-bay (the second time it was for sale) it was at 5,000 strong, which killed my intrest in it. At least that's how I remember it. I hate to call anyone a liar... If it was his car why should he be pissed that you bid on it on e-bay. Unless I am way off my rocker e-bay has a much broader audience than 3si. You think he would want the price on e-bay to go up, unstead of giving 3si members a discount 'cause "we're good people" or some b.s. I mean, I've been through three world fairs and a goat roping contest, and I've never seen anything like this...

He's pissed because we caught him jacken the prices on his own auctions. No, 3si members weren't getting any discounts. He wants $5800 from anyone on the board. I don't know why he doesn't just put a $5800 reserve on the price on ebay. I was suspended for speaking out about this using the trader rating system.

G-Ell wrote: He wants $5800 from anyone on the board. right, and what I'm trying to get across in my own version of english that doesn't type very well is that one would think that he would raise the price on e-bay, or give the same price to 3si. Unless it's not his car, and he was going to bid on e-bay, then turn around and sell it, or if it was his car, he is still trying to raise the price of his own auction. Maybe that one came out better.

Maybe that one came out better. The $5800 is a fixed price for 3Si members vs. the end of an eBay auction could be higher if he were lucky. A common tactic on eBay is to set the price low and let the bidding bring it up even without a reserve. The low price attracts attention on eBay. If you wanted the eBay price nothing prevented you from bidding. The way you describe it makes it look like nothing was wrong. If he was bidding (through another account) on his own auction to bring up the price that is a violation of the eBay rules and you should have reported it to eBay. They would investigate it for fraud, which they take seriously. He can end his auction early and relist if he wants. It is in the eBay rules.
