Soooo Got these done this weekend.
Here is a pic of the rear wheel bearing that came out lol It actually wore the axle down to the point where the bearing came off when we hammered it out.
Also it was mentioned that I might have to have a hub puller... I did.. and luckily my dad had 5 variations of them just laying around that he had collected over the years lol
We checked the inner bearing (in the trailing arm) holy shit this thing is complex and I hope I NEVER have to replace that bitch...
Anyways. Got it in okay and everything worked great
Next we did lowering springs and new OEM struts. These struts were in actually GOOD condition and I don't think they have ever been replaced. 1 or 2 of them were leaking slightly but I have driven the crap out of this car and it has 164,xxx on it. Do they actually last that long?!
The bearings in the tophats up front were completely effed. I couldn't even turn one with my finger...
Anyways I got rid of that horrid wheel gap
idk how much more they will settle as I think I gave them plenty of a workout to get there. AWS delete kit will be ordered ASAP to get some adjustable rear control arms and weight reduction!
