Does everyone have their cars out and running around yet, or are some still in storage? Lisa's is out. She is running around in her little red fun car on nice days. I have to get at a few remaining issues, and it's amazing now that she has a car my honey do list includes car stuff now. My car is still safely tucked away in a hanger at the GB airport. I am going to try and get out there this weekend and bust it out of pergatory. Then I suppose I'll have to come up with a list of things I want to work on with both cars before the gathering. Oh. And I got lisa a "Show me your Tits" Liscense plate frame. I put it on her car without telling her. It should be interesting to see her reaction when she finds it... So, what's going on out there peoples?

Had mine out a couple times. Nothing quite like the smell of burnt oil in the spring!

Mine's still in storage, hoping for an Easter debut but we'll see what's parked in front of it in the storage barn...

Still in storage over here. S'pose I should get around to putting the battery in and starting it up one of these days.

I've put about 1500 miles on mine over the past 2 weeks. Mostly just cruising out by the bay, enjoying the weather.

It is still in the garage, in pieces, but I have pushed it out a couple times this year to work on it.

LAME. PS pump aren't hard to replace you baby. Remove innercooler pipe, cruise assembly, belt, then remove 1 nut and 1 bolt that hold the pump on. Then you take off the low pressure line from the reservoir and let the fluid drain. Its easy to undo the high pressure line with the pump off the motor.

Most of the crap was just akward to get to... Especially that one um... bracket...? that holds the metal banjo-bolt type fitting on was difficult to figure out. Having never taken a pump off before, and not knowing what it looked like off tha car I did not understand that it needed to be loosened before it could be removed.

Oh hey, one ther thing. Take a mirror and check out that banjo fitting to be sure the seal is still good. They like to leak when you disturb them.
Sometimes I remove that high pressure line down by the rack instead of the pump itself. A bit tricky but it's sometimes easier.

how about that little o-ring that you have the short bent nipple pressed up against with the two ten mil bolts?
I was looking at both of them on my power steering pumps, and both look pretty flat...
Replace all of them?
woot. Can't understand a word you typed two posts ago.

If they're still soft, they're fine. If they're cracked/frayed replace them. They're shapped funny. It's not a standard o-ring.
