Hey, I live in Oshkosh WI. I need some electrical work done with my sl-tt, I have tried to contact 440 4x4 and redline performance in GreenBay but I have not heard a response from either one.
Anyone know where I can get work done?

I heard that demanding a response immediately doesn't usually work very well.
Just what I heard.

Demanding service is not right. I just want to hear you got my messages. I was not aware you were such a prestegious wrench-hand. Please let me know when you have time.

Hey folks, please... <slides soap box over and stands up on it> Jeff is this club's greatest asset when it comes to fixing our cars correctly and very affordable. And because of this, I believe we keep him pretty busy, so please be patient with him. Believe it or not, he has a real life and a real job away from our needs that keeps him very busy as well. We are lucky to have him. He has done numerous great things for me and right after I win the lotto, he'll do my rebuild as well. So, please cut our Mad Scientist some slack -- he always gets back to you, it just may take him a little time. Now, back to our regularly scheduled program of quoting Fast and Furious too much, listening to Uncle Benny banter with Adam, watching Adam swoop in and remind us all of Dr. Perry Cox, abusing Johnny because... well, it's Johnny, and finding out more about Scott's secret weapon sweater... This was only a test.

I did not demand anything, I asked a simple question and got bantered. I have been polite through all of this, are we not adults here? From a business owner I expect a return call, I know in this economy people need the business. I never bashed anyone just was asking for help.

Problem too, is this website doesn't send out emails anymore for PM's, so you have to constantly check the site and hope you notice the little message at the top.

Best of luck to you sir.
I hope it all works out well for you and your project.
If you are calling businesses and they don't call you back, that is unfortunate. However, I am not a business. I am a guy on the forums.
I am not prestigious, nor am I in desperate times.
Again, thank you very much, and good luck with your project. I hope you find a business to help you.

Wow. did Justin leave you a nasty message or something?
He asked me where he thought he could get his car finished, as I don't really want to chase down a (or several) wiring problem(s) in his car miles away from my home garage.
I told him I knew of two places. One was beyond redline, and the other was Jeff.
Perhaps this was all my fault?
I didn't know that you weren't a "shop."
I just knew that you took money in exchange for making peoples car's run.
I know you have a reputation of getting work done well, and for a good price, which is why I suggested you instead of BRL.
He asked for a phone number, and I don't have one. I just sent you a PM, and told him your board name.
If I insulted anyone, I didn't mean it. (You can usually tell when I mean to insult someone.)
Anywho, I know Justin is in a hurry to get his car done. I hope that someone can help him.
I didn't think his original post was so much a "HAY LOOK AT ME!" as much as a "How can I get in touch with someone."
but the written word can often be interperated in unintended ways.
Anywho. hope it all works out.
first round is on me next time everyone meets up.
Adam

Adam,
You are at fault for nothing- which you know.
An individual sent me PM's on Sept 27, 28 - which I RESPONDED to, asking for additional information about their needs.
The next response I received from the individual was dated October 13th - and it said that they needed a response that day. Since we aren't notified of PM's anymore, I didn't even know I had one, as I don't go on the forums every single day. Obviously a person can't respond in one day if they don't even know they have a message...
As far as phone messages, I have my phone on 24/7 and there aren't any missed calls, so if an individual thought they were calling me, they had the wrong number.
Oh well, happy tomorrow's to everyone. Go Pack!
