I need both fans on Hi all the time. right now I have them on Lo but that is not enough. I think my sensors failed and just want to do a hot wire (with or without the switch) till my radiator upgrade. how can I do this? fast and easy way.

Actually, it's common for just the relays to go out. The one for the driverside fan is in the fuse box by the cruise control box, and the passenger fan relays are in the box by the airfilter. The relay to switch that fan to high is the top & right most relay as you're looking at the fuse box from the front of the car.
When you switch on your ac, do they turn on? Is your car is a 1G or 2G & NA or TT?

Fast and easy would be run a decent gauge wire from the positive terminal to a switch, then from the switch to the fans. Run the ground wire from the fans to anywhere you want to ground them too.
You will need to hook up both sets of wires running into the fan if you want high speed, so you will be "Y-ing" them into the new wires.
Also note, this will keep the fans running all the time, even if the car is shut off. They will go until the switch is turned off, the battery is dead, or an electrical fire starts if you use too small of a wire.
Have fun.

Have fun. Damn, that's my setup right there. Exactly how I did mine. lol. Something different is that, when I turn my car off, even if the switch is on, my radiator will go off, it doesn't stay on. But I have the same exact set up for my fans you just mentioned.

http://www.3si.org/forum/f13/hotwire-fan-367824/that link has some schematics for the wiring and some info from 3si members. http://www.3si.org/forum/f35/how-do-i-h ... ch-323155/ that link as less info, but has a diagram on how the thread starter did the hotwire and he used a switch there is a member on 3si who did his hotwire and is from wisconsin, not sure if hes on here, turbosprentice, but i did ask if he could hook up a diagram or info to help out.

Something must be interrupting the ground from returning to the battery when you shut your car off then.

Then grab another wire, attach it to the negative terminal. Take both wires and touch one to each of the four wires coming out of the fan motor. If it's the two that were both positives, nothing will happen. If it's the two that were both negatives, nothing will happen. If one is negative to positive, and the other is positive to negative, the fan will spin backwards. If it is right, the fan will spin as it should. If you then hook up both "spin as it should" options, you will get high power mode. no diagrams for that, sorry.

Alright, so here it is. First, here is my cute little illustration picture. Then this is how I got mine set up currently. Use this sensor, it's the one that kicks the fans on. It goes down to something like this: Just wire it up with a wire you're using, one wire on positive to the battery, then another wire on positive that is going to be going to the switch. Now connect one of the positive to the battery! Route it all the way back to the firewall, you should have a little hole back there that comes out by the gas pedal area. Connect it to a switch, I got mine from auto zone, they're like 1.97? And here is how it would look like, depending on where you put yours! Hope that helps. And yes, for "cameron94vr4", I'm "turbosprentice" on 3si. lol. Any questions just ask.

I think I'll get a relay and make them work the way my hotwired fuel pump works. from ignition power of course. good enough?
