while I don't want to sling any stones about prices, or what not, everyone on 3si hating on the guy saying it was only worth 5,500 trade in and what not...
I think his "offer" price is closer to correct.
I really don't think I could justify more then 10k on that car.
I realize we are all partial to them, and it is a 96, but it's also over ten years old, and had random mods done to it (ie: not stock, what problems are you buying?), and in six owners who knows what kind of abuse it has seen.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to low ball anything. It's why I posted here instead of there, but I seriously don't think that guys offer of 9k, espeically in today's market is that far off.
I hope he sells it for more. I hope he gets 25k for it. I have a 95, and it would be super if the resale values shot up. I just don't see it, sorry.
The car does look pretty though.
I'd save the money and get a house or something Greg. Don't you already have an Evo?
Anywho, that's the best "talk you out of it" speech I can give at the moment.
