Go pick up a bottle of water wetter and add it to your coolant. Suposidly it's supposed to make you run about 10 degrees cooler with a 50/50 mix. With my ever so accurate stock temp gauge I seem to be running a little cooler, about a half tick on the stock gauge.

I've been running water wetter in my car for a while now, with an actual temp gauge. I can honestly say that it is not a substitute for a functioning cooling system.
If you are relatively stock, fix the actual problem, don't band-aid.

I realize it isn't a substitute for a functioning cooling system but does it actually make a difference? I'd like to know if it's worth buying.

I'm not quite sure what is the problem.
