after installing hot wire. I dont know exactly how much fuel I've got in the tank. gauge simply is not working. I tried to take the whole thing out, hook it up just to see if it work when I move that thing up and down, it worked. but when I put it back together, not working. I know that there are two yellow wires that go to the gauge. can I somehow check if I get a signal with volt meter? or where should I look?

There's a hose inside the tank that you can accidentally get the floater caught onto when installing the assembly. Just be careful of that.
