Well, if anyone cares, I thought it would be cool to let the w3si guys in on the progress of my car:
I am looking at finishing the 99 convo with the Viper hood and 2G sideskirts in the next 3 weeks. I assume I'm going to have some small fitment problems here and there, but overall, the FMIC should be fitted well, and we should be ready to rock. I hope to see everyone at the gatherings this summer!
Mod list when done with the body work:
Show: 99 Conversion w/ front lip (minus the wing) 99 sail panels 99 reverse panel Custom 2-seater Conversion Fiberglass VIPER HOOD!
Go: DR500s ARC II w/87mm MAS Front Mount Intercooler Blitz DSBC RC 550 cc injectors PST 1 piece CFDS IPO dual feed fuel system Walbro Pump w/hotwire SX performance Fuel filter SX performance adjustable FPR HKS SQV BOV running closed loop DNP pre-cat eliminators Phantom Roadworks Downpipe Phantom Roadworks Exhaust CTC coil pack Stop/Handling: Intrax Springs 3SX braided brake lines 3SX rear control arms Stillen Metal Matrix Pads Bradi Rotors 19" Gewalt EVO II wheels (10" wide in the rear) ARP Lightweight Lugnuts (the key to speed) Other stuff: HKS turbo timer Defi Control Unit Defi 60mm Boost Gauge Defi 60mm EGT HKS 60mm EGT Digital Tuning Knockbox Digital Tuning Pocketlogger ARM I a/f gauge EGR Block Off Plates Vaccuum Line removal mod
I'm probably forgetting some stuff, and if you have any questions about any of the products listed above, let me know, because I have them and probably have an opinion on whether I like it or not.
Again, the car will be up and running in approx. 3 weeks, and we'll see how it feels! Thanks for reading, have a good one everyone, and we'll see you this summer.
Matt

I've got some, and I'll have more as I move through the project. I'll be sure to post a full story and updated pictures as soon as possible, and I wouldn't unveil the car anywhere with pictures until I first make the trip to a W3si gathering!

That sounds like it is going to be a slick ride! I like the viper hood, that is really going to set it off.
