Here's what I did. Rebuild/restore my 92 TT. Here was my for sale thread before work began:
http://www.w3si.org/forum/viewtopic.php ... highlight=Here are a couple pics from today. (I still need to give it a wash)

It took most of the winter but here is what I've accomplished:
Transmission & transfer case replace
New clutch set
New inner & outer tie rod ends, new boot kit
New KYB struts - painted black
Used Eibach Springs
Adjustable control arms (waiting to be installed)
New Y-pipe
Used preturbo intake pipes
New Leatherseats.com Interior (still need to do door inserts)
Used door carpet
Used gauge cluster
New 18x9 Saleen replicas
New antenna
Removed tint (still need to do rear window)
Rebuild on ecu (autoecu.com)
New battery
New starter
Big tyla ground wire kit
Painted front calipers black and put on white Stealth lettering
Shifter bushings (in the mail)
On my first test drive I was stuck in 3rd 2 blocks from my house. My shifter linkage gave out on the tranny. Shifter bushings are on the way!
The used tranny shifts like butter. Alignment and control arms should be finished friday. Then I will take it in for a professional tint job. Next, it goes to the body shop to get drivers side rear quarter repainted.
It is damn near a new car now! Looks great! Now I'm waiting on the next gathering......
Oh and by the way.. IT IS NO LONGER FOR SALE but everybody has their price!
