Okay... Master_D has been begging me to have a little 3/S Repair Party at my house. He's got some work he needs to get done and is too much of a panzy to do it outside in the cold weather, lol Let me know if anyone is interested in coming out for something like this, or has work they need to get done on their car and wanted to use the garage. The only thing I ask is that people pitch in some $ for my propane, cuz them damn tanks cost me $21 to fill up and I'm hurtin' for cash. The downside is that I will have 2 3/S's in my garage already, neither of which are driveable, so we'd have to roll both of them in my driveway in order to work on your car(s) inside... Not that much of a problem but... this means your car MUST be out of the garage that day. so Greg and I can pull our cars back in. Would probably be on this coming Saturday or Sunday or next Saturday or Sunday - you guys tell me. If you just want to show up for the hell of it to help out, that's fine too. You dont HAVE to have repairs that need to be done, you can lend a hand and hang out if you want. Reply to this with: 1. What weekend works best for you 2. What work you need to get done If we do this, I'd like to start early. Noon at the latest to give us plenty of time for whatever needs to get done. Lemme know.

haha... thanx jesse. The main thing I'm looking to get done is the rear o2 dump because as many of you know the threads are stripped on my O2 housing and right now I'm constantly trying to cold weld the o2 in there to keep the car running right (which isn't working) ... my engine bay is starting to turn black from all the exhaust that is being dumped into it ... Other work that could be done is rear plugs (I did the front three today) and maft tuning after new o2 and o2 dump are installed. the rpm wire still needs to be hooked up but its behind the firewall anyway. Lemme know if anyone else is up for helping out.

Do yourself a favor and lube all of the bolts starting tonight. Pull the heat shields out (you can run without them for a week) and try to lube each bolt + stud every morning. It'll smoke like hell when you start the car up, but it will be so much easier to pull everything apart when it comes time.

I'd personally use PB Blaster. You might want to buy a can before coming out as I think I'm pretty much near empty so we're gonna need something.
Seriously though, start dousing those bolts with lube as soon as you can, daily. Greg's got a good point, it'll save us a lot of time.

Do NOT spray WD-40 or whatever on a hot manifold. Lubricating the studs/bolts while they are cold and warming the motor up is what will break them free.

Looks like it's going to be this Friday, and possibly this Saturday too.
However, that doesn't mean I can't have another next weekend or thereafter if the need arises, haha.

I think Jeff and I will start around 4:30pm or so... Greg and Rob are coming out around 6'ish or so I think.
I'm going to tackle the springs on my car with Jeff first... That's my first priority I guess. After that will probably be the crank and motor mount. Rob also wants to do up his rear precat sometime either Friday night or Saturday too.

Well I came down with something so I won't be making it out tonight. I'm just gonna pound down a steak and call it a night. If I'm feeling better in the morning I'll probably stop down and take care of that precat. I did stop by renner and pick up a new O2 so I'll bring that, a drill, wood boring bits, and pb blaster. anything else?

Alright... We're aiming for this coming Saturday for round #2. So far it looks like Master_D and i3ivix17 might be interested... Possibly R/T Bomber? Anyone else who feels like killing a Saturday to work on cars, and have some beer and pizza, reply here.
