Hello, I have a 92 dodge stealth R/t and the ECS Tour/Sport lights are both blinking. I am not able to pick which one I want either. It just keeps blinking. Right when I start the car it doesn't but after I start driving it does. What do you think this is from?!?! Anyway to fix it?!?! Thanks,
Kasey

Your ECS is stuck in one of the modes. If you don't really care about being able to switch from one to the other, you can just unplug it from the comptuer chip. It's in the trunk on the passeger side. You will need to take out the storage holder on the passenger side in the trunk(3 screws) and then have access to a removable panel. Open that up and unplug the 2 connectors. That will disable the tour / sport mode and it will stop the flashing of it too.

Does it matter though? How can I fix it and why did it get stuck? Will this hurt the car in anyway? Thanks,

It doesn't hurt the car at all, and infact, thats what i have done to my 91 rt. If your picky about having everything work on your car, or if you like to be able to change modes, then you might need to fix it. I'm not 100% sure of this, but it might just be the computer chip that needs to be replaced, otherwise it could be some of the connectors to the struts.

The ECS is stuck in sport mode. No this won't damage the car, but it will make for a rough ride.
There are a few things that cause this. Most commonly, one or more of the wires under the ECS caps under the hood have gotten pinched and broke. They're the black circular parts atop of the strut towers that are labeled "Do not put on hand or parts."
