How much knock is to much? I logged my car the other day and I get 0 knock at 10psi and my idc is at 100% and at 13 psi it is 5 counts and my idc is at 120%. Dr 500's, stock fuel system,no cat's,downpipe, etc. I also need my struts done ecs or ? I don't take to the track so what works good for everyday driver.

I think 5 counts of knock is no big deal. I'd be worried if you get in the 10-15 range. With a stock fuel system and DR500s, I think 13psi is close to the limit that I'd run.
If you are not doing serious track driving, I'd just buy new ECS struts.
later, Curt

Make sure to do a 3rd gear pull to make sure your knock count doesnt raise. But at 120% idc's (err supposed idc's) you should be paying very close attention to knock every time you go wot. Only takes something minor and whoops theres 20 counts of knock.

Yeah, turn the boost down. The injectors are maxed. Those innercoolers get heatsoaked on a nice hot day, that knock count will go up. If an injector fails, you'll have more serious issues.
If you don't care about ECS, go with the KYB replacement struts. They're cheaper than stock and ride good.

The runs are or were in 3rd gear from 30mph to 120 mph.I have a dual stage boost controller and I usally run 10 psi. I would put inj, pump, ect. but the wife drives it and I'm not sure if that would not more grief than its worth. As for my struts most of the shops up here won't touch them and if they will they want 350 per strut. So it looks like I will have to replace them myself.

My car with DR500s was maxed at about 10-11 psi on stock fuel.
after the e-manage, supra pump, and 550 denso injectors the car ran just like stock except ran 17 psi. A good tune and your car will be completely "wife-able."
and you will like 17 psi.

I am sure I'd like it alot. I see IPS sells an upgrade for 700 plus how much does the e-manage cost. The next question does anyone know if any of the coilover struts ride like the stockers?

Unless your wife likes to drive your car under heavy throttle above 4500rpms, I don't think she'll even notice a difference. As for coilovers, no. I've tried several different settings with my teins and haven't been able to get the ride to anything as soft as ECS in tour mode. Unfortunately, the lower you go, the less travel the strut has before it bottoms out. I was able to find a setting that "wasn't bad". Like I said to SJ a few years ago. If all you care about is ride, buy yourself replacement ECS struts from the dealer. They even cost less than k-sports.

THE DEALER WANTS 388.00 A PIECE FOR EACH STRUT.OUCH!!! I'll get them from IPS. Now for the wife and her lead foot. My kids were in the supercharged Buick when she roasted the tires through the intersection in front of the local Policeman. I think she will notice in a matter of seconds.

Well, you know what they say about women drivers. Which dealership did you get that quote from?

The Dodge Dealer here in Rhinelander Wi.The local garage has to pay 288.00 each there cost from the same dealer. Do you have 4 struts that are low mileage that you want to part with?

I do but they're not ECS struts. I bet you could get away with just doing the fronts for now.
Might I suggest you give Nick at Brookdale Mitsu a call in MN. Even after shipping, I betcha you'll get a better price. Think I paid $300 for the front pair on my 91 TT back in the day.
