We don't usually do introductions, but "welcome" to new Team3S member Jeremy Glow, who provided the '97 3000GT Base model for an SDS (supercharged) system by www.RippMods.com, out of NYC. His 3kGT was dyno'd at 243 WHEEL horsepower and 219ft-lbs of torque at 5-7psi, which is almost *double* that of a stock base model (stock is 161HP = ~130WHP) . That amount of power is right up there with the turbo 3S models - in a car thats 700lbs lighter. Looks like the SOHC owners among us have some new toys to add to their "wish-list"! The car has an automatic tranny (with add-on cooler), and lots of other goodies. I like the RippMods site - one of their mottos: "Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Stock". They sound like MY kind of people... Ripp has also added their blower to a 6cyl Eclipse for a whopping 352WHP. Sounds like these guys know what they're doing...

that must be spawn's car.. he was the test car for that S/C for the SOHC and those are truly some impressive #'s especially considering he is stock otherwise.. his car has been done since last year. personally I am rather disaponted in the rest of the 3si board that cried for this and said they would buy it once it was complete, and then never steped up to the plate after the product was completed with such an impressive amount of quickness and such impressive #'s.. also if my single turbo project dosn't produce equal gains I will be getting this kit.. I planned on getting it to begin, with but the $3500 price tag $4000 with headders although not a bad price for such an awesomly built product WAS a bit out of my range at the time..
