I'm back in town.
Let me know if you still need this done.
Thanks.
In in west lafayette unfortunately right now... I tried, but I have no means to get the motor up to you with everything, and back. ( no vehicle ) plus just the time alone.
( I will have you help me on some stuff when I move up there ) I've just had to buck it up and am going to have to do it all myself... I've asked Bob Melton to help me, he's going to see if he has time one of these days coming up.
I should have planned better, and indiana just sucks for these cars anyways. Very few people who have done a lot of engine building on these...
I hope I do it all right.
EDIT: if you felt like making a drive, I could pay you. I know it's quite far though. ( I'm guessing 4 hours )
tonight... like I said before.. I wasn't sure what I was doing... all winter the cylinder walls have been fine... humidity spiked like crazy the other day, and what I had covering it didn't work... cylinder walls rusted like mad...
I used wd40 and wiped them the best I could with a dish pad ( went to walmart and got the pads without the hard sides ) I did get the crank pulley off ( it was on there good )
damn stuff... ( I didn't know to put oil... ) I know the stuff now... anyways, it's been a disastrous 2 days, and things are hectic and crazy around here.... I'll post an update with the motor stuff as soon as I get something done on the weekend.
