I'm thinking about dressing up the engine a bit. At first I wanted to get everything polished, valve covers, plenum, chrome Y-pipe, chrome covers, etc.... Then I remember what TTangel mentioned one time, too many polished parts can look like crap. My car is black so I'm thinking about black on black. Gloss black powder coat on valve covers and upper plenum with polished lettering. Then maybe a chrome spark plug cover. Maybe even have a black power coated Y-pipe to be different. What do you guys think? Any pictures of what you have done? I want it to look nice when people look at the car. Right now the black on the valve cover is flaking off and looks like crap.
Do you guys know of any good people that do powder coating at a fair price? Thanks!
Bunk

Great idea!
BLACKENED wheels would look sharp, too!

Has anyone here used Late Night customs for powder coating and polishing? They are in the Milwaukee area I think.

Bunk I have! I have actually been to their place a few times in Milwaukee. I go down there a lot for Brewer/Bucks games. They do really good work. I can get you some pics in a while if you want some. Otherwise Jordan/Kevin will probably post up here in a little while. They are a W3si member (jta3000gtvr4). Neil
