well, it's a lot better than paying $1500 to have one rebuilt or $1700 for one from a mitsubishi dealer.
I've seen them go for $500-600, without shipping on 3si. Are you getting any warranty on it?

yeah, I'll take it. Might be one or two good parts left in it. Maybe I'll come pick it up and give you a hand if you need it when you're ready to put in the new one.
When you think you'll be doing it?
A

Ahhh, tranny's, tranny's, tranny's. I think I am the tranny replace king with 6 tranny's under my belt. Who knows though, maybe some W3S'ers out there have me beat. Is that tranny a JDM? Could have had a JDM tranny shipped to your door for 600 with the same mileage. Also, I have always wanted to check out these guys www.mantrans.com. They seemed pretty good and reasonable. The six month warranty is almost crap, it sounds great but really only guarantees it's not DOA and it sucks so bad when it is because you already spent all the time putting it in (I had one). I have now had two of those trannys bust just after six months. Rebuild is definately the way to go, especially on the Vr4's. Of course I bought a rebuild from the dealer and then paid them to put it in, who does that . Ouch, sorry, it hurts to sit down haha. Good luck. Bret
