I just got my throttle body back from getting a rebuild. If anyone has ever seen those rebuilt throttle bodies on eBay, that is the guy that I sent it to. I cannot be any happier with the results. All of the seals were replaced (I had the special high boost seals option), and everything was fully polished and cleaned. Everything was even readjusted to spec and if you send him your TPS along with your throttle body he will adjust that to spec. The best part is that it holds boost pressure (confirmed with a pressure test) which is often a problem with worn our seals in our throttle bodies. He can also do full rebuilds on the IAC motor if you think yours is bad.
I sent him possibly the ugliest throttle body ever since it had over 230k miles on it. The seals were so dry and old at that point that it wouldn

I'd like to see one... with the chamfered edge on the throttle body plate, and what's different about the shaft...
Looks shiny and new!

I actually have a real full time job now at Northwestern Mutual. Between my last semester taking 8 classes to graduate early and then landing the job I havent had time for much. On top of that I've been doing more ebay stuff than I ever have before - saving up for a down payment on a house so I've been trying to save as much money as I can in a short period of time.
Would you have some time for a compression test and leak down test in the near future?

I needed to take all those to graduate last May - it was a precondition to getting the job.
I'll send you an email soon to set up a time to work on the car and to catch up since I havent seen you in long time.

Yes, long time. The large, ole blue car now runs. You'd have to ask Shawn, who went for a test drive last night, but it might make at least one horsepower
